How can I shop Lilabare?

Where do you ship to?

Lilabare ships worldwide. Our worldwide shipping rates depend on your location, but is on average $15-20 per package. You will be given an exact shipping rate at checkout.

You are responsible for paying customs taxes & import duties in your country. 

What is your shipping rate?

If you are in Kenya, your package ships free!

If you are ordering from across the globe, your exact shipping rate is calculated at checkout.

How long will it take me to receive my order?

We make each piece to order alongside our small scale artisans & tailors. When we receive your online order, we make it specially for you. This is also to maintain our zero-waste policy, as we minimize waste by only making the styles that you want.

Generally, we ship within 10 days of receiving your order, from our garden atelier in Nairobi to anywhere in the world. Orders should take approximately 2 weeks in total to reach you. Some of our slow fashion pieces, botanical hand-dyed pieces & handwoven items take a little longer as they are entirely crafted by hand, from farm to finish. You will find a note on the description box on its shop page.

Can I track my shipping?

Yes, you will receive a tracking code with your order.

If you are in Kenya, you will receive an SMS notification through our local courier partners.

For orders outside of Kenya, our global delivery partner is DHL Express, and you can access their package tracker by clicking here.

Does my order include taxes?

Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, your shipment destination and the value of your purchase, and are added to your order total in your shopping basket. Duties and taxes are nonrefundable. If you have any other questions around duties and taxes, contact ria@lilabare.com .

This charge is determined by your local customs authority and includes:

- The Sales Tax applied by your country for purchases from the Kenya.

- Duties charged for processing by your country.

What is your refund policy?

We allow returns for defective items only at this time. If you received a good damaged, please get in touch at ria@lilabare.com and we will be in touch with you shortly.

How do your sizes work?

Lilabare is designed to encourage movement & feelings of freedom in their adjustability. We have developed our own adaptable sizes; Petite, Regular & Curve, and each of these accommodate for up to 3 standard sizes. Please read our size guide to get the equivalent for US, UK & European sizes, as well as cm & inches.

When you purchase your LilaBare, you get free repairs for life.

Drop off & pick up from our Nairobi Studio.

Who can I contact to learn more about your sustainability practices?

We take transparency very seriously at Lilabare. Check each product for specific sustainability information such as origin, handcraft & amounts of water preserved by recycling fabrics into our designs.
