CARE GUIDE

Secured by a handcast brass bangle that wraps the bodice and anchors the fit. Made by a second-generation brass artisan in Kibera, Nairobi, the bangle detaches and can be worn on the arm independently. Below: plunge neckline, long bell sleeves, full-length A-line with buttons from collar to hem. The surface is Kali print: rain-fed Kenyan cotton pleated, packed with post-consumption iron and left under the sun. Tea residue and oxidation form marks unique to each batch, developed with Amos Kimani, 86, and Betty Cheruiyot, 23. No two pieces carry an identical surface. Limited batch: the full process takes over two months, made entirely by hand. Includes detachable brass bangle worn independently as an arm cuff.

Made from local origin, botanically dyed, rain-fed cotton.

Produced in small-batch runs.

Air between gentle wears. Machine washable on handwash setting, lowest temperature & spin cycle. Line dry in shade.
