V-neck crochet vest in cotton. Worked by hand by women-owned artisan groups in Kenya, in a weave developed in-house at the LilaBare atelier: a close structure with natural give that moves with the body. Closed with two handcast brass buttons, each cast by a second-generation brass artisan in Kibera, Nairobi, in irregular shapes. No two buttons are identical. Cropped to the hip. Fits true to size.

Botanically dyed in house.

Made from local origin, botanically dyed, rain-fed cotton.

Produced in small-batch runs.

Air between gentle wears. Machine washable on handwash setting, lowest temperature & spin cycle. Line dry in shade.
