from soil to seam

our special sauce

Looks like linen, drapes like silk, but is rain-fed handwoven East African cotton. Crafted entirely by hand with zero-electricity. The yarn is dyed with plants before weaving, allowing the healing properties of each colour to be innate to each thread.

zero electricity

human made

Local artisans weave the textile on hand-operated wooden looms using no electricity. Tonal variation and tactile finish are shaped by the rhythm of the loom, the dyed yarn and the hand of each maker.
